We cannot see you in the dark, the survival guide says, and it tells people to use EL wire or LED lights to decorate your outfits. On Virginia Key in February the sun sets around 6:12 PM and rises around 6:58 AM, which is roughly 12.7 hours of darkness every night and about 51 hours across the four nights of the burn.

Only from what you brought. There is no power on Virginia Key, so a rechargeable lighting setup needs a battery station or a generator behind it. That is worth planning before you buy the lights.
